Less than 24 hours to go to the first ever Twenty 20 cricket world cup. The "old" combination opening partnership of Gibbs and Smith proved to much for Australia in their warm up clash on Sunday. Although Loots Bosman will be missed, the prospect of Gibbs and Smith batting the world on fire once again excites everyone except of course Australia and the rest of the world.
The proceedings will be under way on Tuesday 17:30. South Africa will take on the "hot and cold" West Indies team. Watch this space for news, scores, gossip and tournament updates.
